Corked Wine?

Corked wine? One reader of a leading wine magazine has come across a suggestion from a Cloudy Bay winemaker.

Simply decant the corked wine into a jug, and stir in a sheet of clingfilm. The wine won't be restored completely, but the plastic apparently removes the dank, bitter flavours and renders the wine drinkable.

While we can't say we have tried this suggestion, it might be worth experimenting next time you open a bottle of corked wine!!!
