Tasting Notes Intense cherry-red colour with violet undertones. Powerful aromas on the nose with ripe red and black fruit (blackberries, mulberries and intense plum), intermingled with good, elegant oak and hints of spice. On the palate sweetness of the ripe tannins with good structure, and a long finish.
Alcohol 14.5% vol.
Food Savoury fish dishes, grilled or roast meat dishes, lamb, duck, partridge, and mature or blue cheese.
Our Comments This is a very good Crianza from this lesser known region of Castilla y León. On the palate the Tempranillo fruit are well integrated with the oak, and it has a long complex finish. This wine will continue to improve in bottle. To be enjoyed now through 2012.
