Cooperativa Agrícola Castellana
The Bodegas Cooperative Agrícola Castellana is situated in the heart of the DO Rueda, on the outskirts of the town of La Seca, where it was founded in 1935 by a small but dedicated group of ambitious wine-makers.
Today it consists of some 400 members who cultivate 2,000 hectares of vineyards, with modern equipment for the production of seven million litres of wine per harvest (predominantly white wine), and facilities for maturing one million of these in oak.
