Our Comments
Only 1,000 bottles made.  This is the flagship wine from this Bodegas. Very good fruit, body, and finish. This wine will continue to improve many years. To enjoy this wine at its best now, do take the time to decant and allow it to stand for a while before drinking, although it can be served straight from the bottle at room temperature.
PARKERS NOTES: "“The 2003 Capricho (1,000 bottles produced) was barrel fermented and aged for 24 months in new 500-liter Hungarian oak. Inky purple and more marked by its barrel treatment, it has an alluring bouquet of pain grille, pencil lead, mineral, blackberry, and black raspberry. Ripe, spicy, balanced, and seamless, it will provide satisfaction through 2015.”
